Identify the benefits of becoming a better listener
Describe the potential blocks to effective listening
Discuss how silence pertains to effective listening
Explain how prejudices impede listening
Put into action four steps to become a better listener
Al Arens has a BSEE degree from General Motors Institute of Technology (now known as Kettering University). He had a successful sales and sales management career in the Electrical Wholesaling Industry. Presently he is the president of Life Enhancing Programs, LLC, a training and consulting company.
